As a teacher, it's important to model behaviors that we wish our students to follow as well. When it comes to copyright law and issues, students don't really seem to care whether or not they follow the law. As a teacher, I must admit, that I am not the best at following these laws. Ok, I don't really think about it actually. If teachers were to get more information regarding copyright law earlier on, it might be easier to implement the attributions in the classroom. I hope to get better about this, considering I don't have the money to defend myself if I were to be sued!

Otherwise, it's nice to have all of this in one place. Especially having the spelling out of what copyright entails and fair right usage. Way cool!

This is a good start. As a middle grades teacher, I think it will be difficult to get my students to tunderstand some of these principles; however, we can continue to model and instruct. Through dialogue, we can get there.
